Woman In Bay Area Has Breast Augmentation Revision For Bottomed Out Implants

Procedure Details

This patient had concerns regarding the appearance of her breasts following breast augmentation/lift by another surgeon several years prior. She commented that she noticed her breasts had gradually lost fullness at the top while becoming heavier and saggy at the bottom. She noticed that her breasts had drifted to the lateral sides of her chest.. She also stated that her areola and nipples were somewhat visible in low cut tops and swimsuits.  During her consultation, Dr. Gray and the patient reviewed options for correcting her concerns. In the OR, Dr. Gray performed an anchor-incision breast lift with revision to the breast implant pockets. The incisions at the inframammary folds of the breasts were extended to allow for better support of the breast implants. A new set of breast implants were selected and placed underneath the pec muscles. Following surgery, the patient was placed in a post-surgical bra that she wore throughout her healing. The patient was compliant with her post-care and healed very well. Her results are pictured 6 months following her breast revision surgery.
