Woman in Bay Area Has Secondary Breast Lift (Revision) With Breast Augmentation

Procedure Details

This patient was concerned about the lack of volume to the upper pole of the breasts. She stated that she had a previous breast lift several years prior and had noticed her breasts become flatter and square-like in shape. She desired perkier and rounder breasts. She consulted with Dr. Gray who recommended a breast augmentation with a vertical breast lift. Silicone gel breast implants were placed under the pec muscles at the inframammary folds of the breasts. Dr. Gray then went on to perform a vertical (lollipop lift) mastopexy to reshape and reposition the breast and areolae. Excess skin and fat left from her previous breast lift was removed by means of skin excision at the inframammary folds of the breasts. Following surgery, the patient was placed in a post-surgical bra for much of her healing process. She healed well and resumed normal activities quickly. Results pictured are 6 months following breast revision surgery.
